CRAIG’S CRUISERS STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19
March 16, 2020
Due to the executive order signed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on March 13th we will be monitoring and enforcing the capacity restrictions currently in place until April 5th at 5:00 p.m.
Craig’s Cruisers mission is exceed our guests’ expectations by providing memorable experiences that are safe, clean and fun. We understand that there is concern with the Coronavirus/COVID-19. We will remain open and continue to implement preventive measures in line with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local health agencies. We feel that it is a personal choice for our guests to come to our facility and our staff to work. These decisions must be made by the person or family what they feel is the best decision. Safety is always our #1 priority.
WHAT WE ARE DOING:
Craig’s Cruisers has always had high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. We are amplifying our procedures during this time with increased frequency of using disinfectant certified to kill coronaviruses. We are focusing on all areas of “high touch” including door handles, arcade game controls, attractions, steering wheels, terminals, table surfaces and more. We have also added more hand sanitation stations located throughout our complex for our guests and our staff.
We continue to emphasize and train our staff to follow our strict hand washing policies. We will encourage staff throughout their shift to be regularly doing this. Our staff will wear gloves when preparing any food and change gloves frequently. Employees have been told that if they have any signs or symptoms of being ill they are not to report to work. Also, we have told our staff that if they or their family feel uncomfortable about coming into work they will not be penalized for calling in. Again we feel this situation requires a personal choice given the information out there.
